Pregnant drink plenty of folic acid, children with asthma
Pregnant women taking folic acid supplements to improve child health, also increases the risk of causing asthma on baby is up 30%, a study of Australia has said.

This study may explain why the incidence of asthma is increasing at present.
So far, the pregnants still are advised by doctor that they should taking additional folic acid before and while pregnant, to prevent neural tube defects usually occuring in the first week of pregnancy.
Assistant Professor Michael Davies, from the Robinson Institute of the University of Adelaide, has found a result “unexpected” with women who use supplements throughout the pregnant period.
Davies had surveys about over 550 research documents of women ever born children and assess their diet and supplements used before pregnancy, and then assess rates of asthma in their children’s children.
As a result, women who use these supplements in accordance with the advice – before you get pregnant and do not exceed the first few weeks of pregnancy: the number of asthma in children doesn’t increase.
However, Davies found that women folic acid supplements (or salt) during the period of pregnancy, or from 16 to 30 weeks, then increase the risk of children with asthma to 30%.
Asthma in children is rapidly increasing in developed countries, and Davies said, his research showed what is the role of changing the diet, especially the abuse of a kind supplements
